What are the key objectives and expectations from this role?  

Works as a business partner for Marketing the Digital Business Solution leaders in end markets, by providing key commercial, financial, and business insights, thus assisting in ensuring that the end market growth activities contribute to the success and effective resource allocation decisions are made across the value chain.

Analytics which generate value added insights and foresights is a key lever in driving sustainable and efficient business growth. We are looking for a passionate individual who is excited by analytics to insights and innovation vs. the status quo to join our DBS Commercial team.

What is the direct impact of this role on the team or organization?

Reports to: Project Manager


  • Coordinates process solutioning, recruitments, on-boarding and knowledge transfers for the Teams
  • Manages budgets and Project timeline.
  • Leverages analytical tools by providing insights and recommendations towards the achievement of plans and supporting execution initiatives
  • Contributes to continually improving business performance by conducting analyses and developing insights to drive velocity and marketing spend effectiveness
  • Collaborates and partner with cross-functional team (including marketing, finance, IDT particularly D&A team, RGM) regarding marketing spend effectiveness
  • Supports the process of evaluating the effectiveness/efficiency of Marketing & Finance programs & touchpoints through analytical tools to support better decision-making and resource allocation.
  • Provides insights to drive spend efficacy and smart cost management within the team.
  • Assists in multiple strategic DBS projects within tight deadlines, and communicate to line manager and key stakeholders any challenges/issues in a clear and timely fashion.
  • Plans an active role as a member of relevant DBS team, ensuring continuous improvement in all required capabilities (with emphasis on strong analytical skills) and commercial acumen for own and other team members. Support the relevant leaders in this through combination of existing team development and new appointments.
  • Able to effectively operate in a matrix organization with high level of change.



Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Economy
  • 5+ years’ experience
  • Experience in large global organizations (FMCGs)
  • Experience in Marketing related to products and Brands
  • Good communication skills: oral, written, presentation, facilitation
  • Must have strong analytical skills and business acumen to build strong business cases to drive core business decisions and change/innovation
  • Data and insights driven. Basic understanding of key data science concepts
  • Commercially focused and is consumer centric
  • Good influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills. Good oral and written communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills to influence and secure cross-functional support
  • Understanding and knowledge of relevant tools and systems (i.e. BI / Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Experience in analyzing reports and analytics generated by data science and statistical models, and identifying issues, challenges, and opportunities
  • Experience in planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation, of commercial projects
  • Ability to simplifying complex situations, communicate and present complex information
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative
